Parque de la Alameda
Nature parks are ideal if you’re looking for relaxation and tranquillity during your holiday in Marbella away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. In addition, all the parks mentioned in this post are perfect viewpoints to contemplate the city while you enjoy long walks with your family. At La Ciudadela Marbella we’d like to recommend you some of the gardens in Marbella where you can relax, walk, go with the little ones, enjoy your leisure time or just have a drink. Don't miss out on them!
Parque de la Constitución
At La Ciudadela Marbella we believe that the Parque de la Constitución is one of the most peaceful gardens in Marbella. It’s an ideal place to enjoy the shade of its trees while relaxing with a good book or taking in the views. In addition, during the summer season there are all kinds of shows for all ages.
It’s just a 12-minute walk from our hotel Santo Cristo in Marbella.

Parque Arroyo de la Represa
It’s located a few metres from the Castle Wall of Marbella, in the heart of the town centre and also a 5-minute walk from our hotel Santo Cristo in Marbella. A park with two artificial ponds that are home to turtles, ducks and fish. It also has sports courts, a high-performance rhythmic gymnastics pavilion, children's playground, skatepark, and of course, the beautiful Bonsai Museum. You can't miss out on this park during your family holiday in Marbella!
Jardín El Ángel
The El Ángel garden is one of the botanical gardens of Marbella that you cannot afford to miss during your visit to Marbella. It’s made up of some 80 species and its botanical richness lies in the exceptional antiquity of its trees, which date back to the 18th century. The park is divided into different areas: the Tropical Garden with waterfalls and artificial lakes, the Crucero Garden where the Church of the Angel is located, or the Romantic Garden where you can stroll and enjoy the surroundings.
It's a bit far from our boutique hotels Maison Ardois and Hotel Boutique Santo Cristo in Marbella, so we recommend driving there. It’ll only take you 10 minutes and it’s well worth it.

Parque Pinar de Nagüeles
The Pinar de Nagüeles park is located just a short drive from the centre of Marbella. It has lots of facilities to offer: barbecues, tables, benches, fountains, playgrounds, a large parking area, gardens, pedestrian paths and public services, so you can enjoy a day in the countryside without any hassle. Ideal for family picnics. In the grounds there is a Youth Hostel and the chapel of the Patron Saint of Marbella, San Bernabé. It’s an ideal place to spend a day with the family during your holiday in Marbella.
Parque Vigil de Quiñones
This is another of the places that we at La Ciudadela Marbella recommend for spending a day with your family during your holiday. Since it's 3 hectares of land, you’ll find several sports facilities or have a great day thanks to its barbecues, tables and benches for picnics.
It’s a 20-minute walk from our boutique hotel Maison Ardois in Marbella.
